About the Angel Shots Project

 The Angel Shots Project promotes domestic and sexual violence awareness and prevention by giving individuals a discreet way to ask for help when they feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or threatened in a participating establishment. A person can quietly order an “Angel Shot” from a bartender or staff member, signaling that assistance is needed without having to explain the situation publicly. Depending on how the program is implemented at that location, trained staff may help arrange safe transportation, contact a trusted person, provide a safe place away from the situation, or call law enforcement when appropriate. By educating businesses, employees, and the community about this simple safety tool, the Angel Shots Project helps create an environment where asking for help can be discreet, immediate, and supported.
